What is one of your addictions?

I'm back in Illinois, by the way. Michael and I spent yesterday driving up here. I'm SO moving back there as soon as I can manage it - maybe in March or April. Champaign sucks. Michael loves it though, which is good since he has to be here at least three or four years. I think he has finally come to terms with the fact that he'll be moving back to New Orleans. Long-distance relationship, here I come. Anything's better than here.
The high today is 17. Fahrenheit. What?
I'm officially registering my disapproval with northern winter. This shouldn't be legal.
I hate this town. I want to go back to New Orleans.
Yay! It snowed! Here's what I woke up to this morning:
Shakespeare got interested. I think he's seen snow once - two Christmases ago, it snowed in New Orleans for a good half hour (the first time in 50 years), but it didn't stick. Shakespeare spent a few minutes in the window next to Orange Kitty and Sparkly Snowman, watching the snow.
Have a look at the email I just got:

Yesterday I told Michael that I have a feeling today will be the last nice warm day for a long, long time. Now I'm sure.
The email, by the way, came from Notify, a Weather Channel service I pay $60 a year for because I'm terrified of tornadoes, and Champaign gets way too many of them for my taste.
Show us what autumn looks like where you live.
